In our country, as in the whole Earth, the climatic changes impose appropriate changes of the agro technologies. The plants development in covered spaces is stimulated because the microclimatic conditions became more adequate for the plants needs, comparative with the external ones, in cold and/or hot season. The annual harvest grows in the context of a microclimate optimization and the season extending. The most used covering materials in the world are the UV stabilized polyethylene films, whose weak point is their mechanic vulnerability. The lamination of the polymeric films with textiles improves the composite films mechanic resistance and utilization period. Our institute developed some types of textile-reinforced film that confirmed their agro functionality regarding the mechanical resistance parameters.
