“Texmed
Awards” awarded, for the first time, “the performance, creativity and
know-how of the Tunisian textile and clothing companies”…The
jury of the first edition of “Texmed Awards”, composed of professionals
in the textiles and clothing sector, decided to award the prize from
the “Export Performance Award” for the “Groupe Maille Club”, which
since its inception in 1982, has succeeded in imposing the mark
“MABROUK” as the Tunisian reference in ready-to-wear and sportswear…This
award recognizes the company that produced the best export performance
during the last three years (2007, 2008 and 2009); the company which
received the prize achieved an annual average of the highest growth in
exports, with an annual turnover of export greater than or equal to 1
million dinars (MD) performed on at least three markets during those
three years…The prize for “Best Stand Award” was handed to
“ULYSSE FASHION TUNISIA”, specialist in the fashion industry and
clothing; the award recognizes the company that booked a naked stand
and made a remarkable effort of design, wrapping and personalization
stand at the 2010 edition…The “Certification Award” prize was
awarded to “La Griffe international”, a leader in the labeling sector,
for the company that has the most certifications…The “Creativity
Award” award was given to “GROUPE TFCE” Women’s Clothing, clothing
accessories, underwear and equipment for the work of textile and
leather for the company that has a collection of finished creative and
original products, and attended the fashion show, during the exhibition…The
“TEXMED Loyalty Award” was handed to “SILEX Societe Industrielle de
Lingerie à l’Export”, which honors the exhibiting company’s most loyal
to Texmed since its inception in 1997…The ceremony of “Texmed
Awards” was held in the northern suburbs of Tunis, in the presence of
Mr. Afif Chelbi and Ridha Ben Mosbah, respectively, Minister of
Industry and Technology and Minister of Trade and Handicrafts and Mr.
Chokri Mamoghli, Secretary of State in Charge of Foreign Trade..
