Sports apparel and equipment giant Nike Inc will unveil its inaugural line of golf clubs at a special show on Thursday as it bids to win a slice of the game’s massive $8 billion global equipment market.
Three years after it launched its own golf balls with the backing of World No.1 Tiger Woods, the firm has released its first clubs in a move sure to be closely watched by more established golf equipment makers.
The firm will debut its clubs at the Professional Golfers’ Association Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida.
