Domestic use will rise to 2.15 million bales from an estimated 2.1
million in the current period, the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service
said in a report posted on its Web site. Cotton consumption fell an
estimated 2.3 percent in the year that began in June because of higher
prices of the fiber and lower yarn prices, the USDA said.
