During the meeting both sides exchanged their views on existing relationship of both countries and underlined the need for further promoting and enhancing bilateral cooperation.The Ambassador of Tunisia told the Federal Minister that his country is very much keen to promote cooperation with Pakistan in trade, investment, culture etc especially textile sector. .He further said that both countries need to explore avenues of cooperation and share experiences for enhancing and deepening bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest. Earlier Ambassador thanked the Federal Minister for gracing the ceremony of the joint celebrations of Tunisian National Day as chief guest. ..Federal Minister for Textile Industry said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its ties with brother Islamic country Tunisia. He informed that working group of textile will soon visit Tunisia and told that Pakistan also wants to strengthen ties between two countries. He also stressed the need of promoting joint ventures between Pakistan and Tunisia. Secretary, Ministry of Textile Industry, Dr. Waqar Masood Khan and Joint Secretary, Mr. Farkhand Iqbal were also presented on this occasion..
