“The emirate’s exports of textile materials and equipment rose by 68.7 per cent from Dh35.5 million to Dh59.8 million over the period of comparison while the emirate’s re-exports of this type of goods touched around Dh108.63 million, said a report in Khaleej Times quoting figures issued by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry SCCI) .Sharjah’s total exports during the first half of this year rose by 9.8 per cent to Dh4.78 billion compared with Dh4.35 billion for the same period last year, the report added .Meanwhile, Sharjah’s re-exports grew by 18.8 per cent to Dh3.589 billion during the first half of this year compared with Dh3.022 billion for the corresponding period last year .Source: Trade Arabia .
