Under this bill, the
Philippines-made garments manufactured by using textiles and yarns
sourced from US would have duty-free entry into the US market. This will help textile industries of both the countrieshe Filipino
communities in abroad are receiving local candidates’ support for the
bill. A positive feedback for the bill has been received from around 95
percent of the 21 candidates…
The BoI plans to support a rally for the bill within two months period
when the US Congress is in recess for midterm elections, and the
session for this will start on 16th of November and will continue till
mid of December. ”
