during the July-January period with more than $1.3 billion of goods
shipped”.While import numbers also rose, the increase was noticeably smaller
at 16.7 percent. Raw materials, as might be expected given the gains in
textile production, reached $22.6 billion during the second half of
2010, compared with $19.3 billion from the same period in 2009 .
