This was announced by the Industry Minister, Mr Ali-Akbar Mehrabian who
said that, that the existing textile units and establishing new plants
was amongst top priorities of the ministry. .
He said that €250 million had been earmarked for the development of the
sector and there would be no shortage of funds for textile units which
had economic viability. .
He added by saying that all those projects which had achieved 40
percent completion would be put in to operations within the next two
years.
