“In 2008/09, the Bangladesh garment exports increased by 15.4%, 16.2%
growth the previous year, but the first 5 months of 2009/10 decreased
6.7%. However, according to research and market release titled “2010
edition of the world textile and apparel trade and production trends:
South Asia and Southeast Asia” report, if the U.S. apparel market,
Bangladesh zero-tariff treatment to the proposed mature enough,
Bangladesh’s exports would greatly benefit
.2007-08 textiles and clothing exports (TandC) to 22.146 billion U.S.
dollars, but decreased in 2009-10 to 20.939 billion U.S. dollars. Indian
Minister of State for Textiles, said the recent Panabaaka Lakshmi
,2009-10 (as of December 2009) India’s textile and clothing exports to
150.4489 million U.S. dollars, compared to the same period in fiscal
year ,2008-09 159.7050 million U.S. dollars export .
.Analysts pointed out that the future of the Indian textile industry’s
export growth will depend on the Government to promote investment in
modernization and innovation measures. Mullen said the Federal Textile

markets such as Brazil and Argentina, have been identified as one of the

.Indian Ministry of Textiles, said in the post-quota era, Indian
textile and clothing (TandC) strong growth in exports of 25% in 2005-06,
exports increased 3.5 billion U.S. dollars, up 17.52 billion U.S.
dollars ,2006-07 continued to grow to 19.15 billion U.S. dollars, year
on year increase of 9.28%. Although the textile and clothing exports in
2007-08 was 22.13 billion U.S. dollars, by the strong appreciation of
the rupee against the dollar a serious impact, but in dollar terms,
still healthy growth of 15.59%, calculated in accordance with rupees, an
increase of about 2.76% .
.Ministry of Textiles Ministry of hope, Technology Upgradation Fund
Scheme (TUFS) will accelerate the promotion of modernization of India’s

.Despite the global economic slowdown, but India 抯 2008-09, textile
exports in total exports increased from 10.82% in up to 12.05%. India’s
