Added value properties based on the use of a new form of 100 per cent polyester fabric will be a feature of the new season’s work and casual wear ranges from ID Textiles.
Called Pontella, the fabric challenges cotton as the raw material for T-shirts and polo style tops on the basis of its soft and pliable handle and its ability to suppress excessive heat build-up even when wet.
ID Textiles will be using Pontella for its spring 2003 polo shirt range. This specific fabric is certified as having a 30+ sun protection factor – the highest rating currently available in the UK.
