The recently signed agreement included the Bangladesh Garment
Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Yu-Kom-Publicidad
S.L, a Spanish company, at the BGMEA head office in the capital, Dhaka
on Tuesday”
. BGMEA President Abdus Salam Murshedy and Nuria
Lopez of Yu-Kom-Publicidad S.L inked the deal on behalf of their
respective organizations, according to a press statement .
. Under
the agreement, Yu-Kom-Publicidad S.L will provide unloading facilities
for BGMEA members and if any company refuses their shipment the product
is will be stored at the warehouse until they can be sold at proper
prices .
. Bangladesh exported a total of US$ 7.218 billion ready made garments to the European Union in fiscal year 2008-09 .
