Eng. Tharwat EL Meniawy (chairman of the Cotton Arbitration and Testing General Organization, CATGO) said that India still on the top of the list of Contracting countries to import the Egyptian Cotton by a percentage 37.92% of the total contracts, followed by China with a percentage 20.41% and then Pakistan by 13.55%. ..Eng. clarified that the total distribution of the Egyptian Cotton between export contracts and the total amount received by the mills during this season, reached 2 million, 832 thousands pounds and 217 kantars to reach the expected total that is estimated by CATGO about 429 thousand and 599 kantars ”
