Sahara Group-Egypt in cooperation with the Private Sector Development -PSD-Programme of the Royal Danish Embassy is organizing a seminar on “creating partnerships with Danish companies in the textile sector”. This seminar is intended to shed light on opportunities under the programme for local companies to create long term commercially viable co-operations with Danish companies such as sub-supplier agreements, license agreements, joint ventures, technical assistance agreements which eventually lead to opening new markets and increasing exports, among other things, for the local companies.
The Egyptian- Danish cooperation should also involve major transfer of know-how, upgrading and training from the Danish to the Egyptian company supported by the Danida PSD Programme. The Programme also supports, in the context of an Egyptian-Danish co operations, improving environmental measures and workers ‘conditions at the local factory.
