Misr spinning company (Miratex) is the largest Iranian-Egyptian joint investment in Egypt. The company has been established in 1974 and is one of the pioneers among other Egyptian textile companies and was awarded EN ISO 9001 Certificate in 1997 by the German International com. DASA ZERT, as a result of the Company’s distinguished performance, implementation of good internal systems and sound economic practices and management. The company also achieved the Trust Certificate Oeko-Tex Standard 100.Miratex Company is currently spinning high count yarn from Egyptian ELS cotton and exports to more than 30 countries. The new investment plans after the take over of the Menia El Kamh spinning factory from the Public Sector Holding company in Sharkia governate is to manufacture terry towels and terry garments such as bath robes. The new investment of Miratex in terry towels is to produce more than 2,400 Tons annually by 2007
