Five first time exhibitors will take part in the winter 2003 Expofil, bringing the total number of companies showing at the Paris yarn fair to l68 and making the event even more international in character.
They include the German house Zimmer which will preview a cellulosic fibre based on seaweed, and Dow Europe whose star exhibit will be a new stretch fibre with the brand name Xia. From Italy, Torcitura Sineteche will offer a range of fire resistant yarns suitable for the specialist workwear trade.
